Astoria & Arosa summer-Weeklyprogramm 2010 Saturday:         „Fondue-Chinoise total !“ Our Astoria - meat fondue Chinoise  (also vegetarian) in a 5-course-Menu with a choice of sauces and other side dishes: Eat as much as you can... Watershow at the Obersee: 21.50h. Enjoy a show with lights, music and water! Sunday:           „different choices“ How about a hike to the Ochsenalpor to the Älplisee? Do you prefer to do the Pedaloon the Obersee or a jump in the Untersee? May be you’d like a bit of Wellness at the lovely Astoria and afterwards an ice cream on the sunny terrace? Enjoy our 5 course at 19.00, the kitchencrwe loves to spoil you… Monday:          „tennis, museum or chess?“ At 11.oo you can do a trial tennis course at the Hotel Valsana, in the afternoon the native musuem opens the doors, after diner you can play chess at the Cristallo Hotel,20.30. And at the Astoria we spoil you with our extensive breakfast buffet and a nice diner. Tuesday:          „Astoria BBQ-night...“ Enjoy our BBQ-night with specialities from the grill and the flambée! Watershow at the Obersee: 21.50h. Enjoy a show with lights, music and water! Wednesday:           „hiking, ABB or ropepark“ Have you ever been at the Grüensee. or at the Alteinwaterfalls or have you ever visited the Heimeli? Would you like to visit the Arosabergbahnen (ABB) at 15.00. The brandnew ropepark is also a super thing to do.  The Astoria terrace is open all day: feel like having a nice coffe or a frappé? Thursday:  „chill, squirells or shooting“ The Badi at the Untersee invites you to chill, play volleyball and the restaurant is all new! If you are lucky you can feed the squirells in the forrest, a pleasure for the whole family! At the Isla you can go for shooting.  The 5 course menue at the Astoria is a nice finish of the day, or may be a cool drink in the bar? Friday:            „summer-raclette“ Yes, also in the summer the raclettedish is a hit! Enjoy ourArosa cheese and the traditional Astoria saladbar. Watershow at the Obersee: 21.50h. WHERE DID ADAM AND EVE FIND THEIR PARADISE ?

Was it only a dream ??
In fairytale mountain scenery, Adam and I walked in the sunshine feeling very happy. Kissing again and again, among the colourful
mountain flowers, playing with the marmots, and galloping on the back of a mountain goat to the “Carmenna-Hut”. There we
refreshed ourselves with fresh milk and naturally Coffee Schümli Pflümli. In the distance we heard romantic Alphorn music,
accompanied by birdsongs and the babbling of the mountain streams. We were so in love, that we didn’t notice the sun go down
behind the mountains tops. Hand in hand, we made our way back to the valley. By Schwellisee, we were greeted by leaping river
trout. In the last rays of sunshine, a pair of eagles soared above us, snow hens clucked for the wedding march while hares danced
around us. Suddenly, a great Stag appeared. Adam asked him if he knew of a good Hotel, where we could spend our Honeymoon?
The Stag laughed and led us to the charming Hotel Astoria.
There we were warmly welcomed. After a cool drink on the sun terrace, I relaxed in the warm Jacuzzi, while Adam perspired in the
sauna and turkish bath. Pure luxury! Suddenly, we were sitting in the restaurant, enjoying a delicious meal, accompanied by
smooth red wine. After a stroll in the moonlight, around the Obersee, we returned to the Astoria-Bar and settled by the log-fire for
a night-cap. Adam put his arm around my shoulder and whispered in my ear: “Eve, this is our heaven, here it would be nice to start
our family! Much in love we retired for the night.
A squirrel tapped on our window, “Good Morning! Time to get up! A lovely day awaits you! Coffee is ready!” A scrumptious
breakfast buffet awaited us. From the fruit basket, a rosy apple tempted at me. I could not resist and bit into it ———“No Eve,
don’t do that”———to late———. I awoke and found myself in reality at the breakfast buffet in the Hotel Astoria, without Adam,
but with my husband Simon.
Was it only a dream ??
or can dreams come true in the HOTEL ASTORIA AROSA ?
